The St Johns County fire code prohibits the use of any grill on a covered lanai or balcony. In order to comply with the regulation, the Makarios Board decided at the Feb 16, 2017 meeting to allow the use of ELECTRIC grills on driveways, rather than ban grills completely. This is a reminder of our current rule:

Residents may use an electric grill in their own driveway as long as it is at least 10 feet from the building and never left unattended.
