The Makarios Rules and Regulations require all Dogs be kept on a leash at all times while out on property. (outside unit, front porch, steps, driveway and behind lanai)  Failure to do so will result in a $75.00 fine.

Everyone’s Safety is the primary reason for this Makarios rule and St Johns County Leash Law.

Another reason is unpredictable situations. The best-behaved dogs can react unpredictably in new situations, especially if they’re scared.

Please keep dogs on a leash at all times.
