3). A unit owner who plans to be absent during the hurricane season MUST prepare their unit for such season prior to departure. Examples include: removing furniture, grills, and other items from lanais and balconies, and plants, pots, or other items from entranceways. In addition, a unit owner should designate a responsible firm or individual to care for the unit should the unit suffer hurricane damage and furnish the association with the name(s) of such firm or individual.
